All this talk about weak political leadership on both sides of the floor got me thinking… What if we could construct a national leader comprised of the best attributes of other great statesfolk? Like, John Howard’s wicked bowling arm and Joh Bjelke-Petersen’s passionate defence of civil liberties? John and Joh didn’t make the cut in the end, but click on the image above to see what did. My portfolio #2: Chris Lilley likes Mexican food

I interviewed Chris Lilley while he was still in the middle of editing Angry Boys, at the time one of the most anticipated TV shows in Australian history. Over Mexican food at a snazzy new Melbourne eatery, he did everything he could to avoid talking about his least favourite subject: himself. Comedy genius he may be, self-promoter he ain’t. The feature ran in the June 2011 edition of FHM Australia.
